About
The organized voice of Louisiana treatment providers
LATP exists because the decisions that determine whether treatment organizations can operate are made in rooms where providers were rarely represented.
Mission
Protect access. Sustain providers. Raise the standard.
LATP unites licensed substance use disorder treatment organizations across Louisiana to advocate for adequate reimbursement, workable regulation, and a treatment system the state can rely on. Members share operating data, set a joint legislative agenda, and speak with one position before the Legislature, the Louisiana Department of Health, and managed care organizations.
Evidence over anecdote
Positions are built from member cost data, utilization records, and published state figures.
One field, one voice
Providers negotiate better when they arrive with a single reconciled ask instead of competing ones.
Access is the outcome
Sustainable reimbursement exists so Louisianans can find a bed, a clinician, and a medication dose.
Leadership
Board and officer listings are published as leadership terms are confirmed.
